The 135th Canton Fair Ended Successfully With A Number Of Indicators Reaching New Highs.

On May 5, 2024, the 135th Canton Fair ended successfully in Guangzhou, and the online platform continued to operate normally. A total of 246,000 overseas buyers from 215 countries and regions participated offline, an increase of 24.5% over the previous session, setting a new record. Among them, there were 160,000 buyers from countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative, an increase of 25.1 percent; 61,000 RCEP members, an increase of 25.5 percent; 52,000 buyers from BRICS countries, an increase of 27.6 percent; 50,000 European and American buyers. The United States Wal-Mart, France Auchan, Britain Tesco and other 226 multinational head enterprises organized buyers to attend the meeting.
